Meet Jay
Born and raised in South Florida, Jay's upbringing instilled a strong appreciation for Jewish traditions and Holocaust education. His family's support of the Jewish Federation and the Anti-Defamation League has fueled his dedication to protecting the Jewish community and combating antisemitism.

Equipped with a Juris Doctor degree from NYU School of Law, Jay is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful change in the Florida State House.

Jay was raised in South Florida alongside his twin sister and his brother, and currently resides in Boca Raton. Jay is also an advocate for organ donation, after donating a kidney through the National Kidney Registry in 2019. He is also a self-described “decent drummer.”

His legal accomplishments, community involvement, and unwavering commitment to his personal values promise to make Jay a powerful force for positive change in the Florida Legislature.
Jay's work representing leading environmental, animal welfare, and labor rights organizations has been featured in major media outlets and has led to the removal of countless misleading marketing claims. As a former Adjunct Professor at Brooklyn Law School and as a guest speaker at law schools across the country, Jay frequently teaches students about public interest legal advocacy.

As an AI Policy Fellow at the Center for Future Mind at FAU, Jay advocates for responsible AI regulation, ensuring the ethical implementation of artificial intelligence in society. He combines his legal expertise with a deep commitment to social justice, actively volunteering with organizations such as the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA) and Moms Demand Action. Through his involvement, Jay helped revitalize the JDCA Florida chapter, organizing well-attended events with leading Jewish Democratic officials and community leaders.
